Michael Hall for County
Commissioner Precinct 4

Platform
Ethical Duty
Ethical practice of local governance is the number one duty of elected officials. He promises to uphold ethical responsibility before all else.
As a licensed Professional Engineer in multiple states, Michael regularly takes professional ethics courses and attends seminars.
Economic Development
A strong county creates a strong economy. The county should play a supporting role in helping county residents build strong businesses.
This means spending money wisely on development projects that support and aid in private investment - not directly compete with it.
Property Taxes & Budget
Minimizing the tax burden of county citizens is vital. This means maintaining or reducing tax rates and controlling appraisal values.
Property appraisals have grown out of control and Michael promises to review the processes behind current appraisal practices.
Transparency & Accountability
A leader differs from a boss in that they take accountability for the actions of their team - regardless of who was the direct cause of the problem.
Michael promises to not deflect accountability onto others but to support the work of county staff for the betterment of the county.
